Fanalysis CODE OF CONDUCT
Last updated: Tuesday 4th August 2026
Fanalysis is for football fans to share honest opinions, ratings, and reactions, during and after the match.
Football chat only. Always.
By using Fanalysis, you agree to follow these rules.
What we’re here for
Rating and reviewing players and managers based on what happens on the pitch
Sharing match reactions, banter, and real fan sentiment
Talking football with fellow supporters of your club
Passion is part of the game. Respect is non-negotiable.
Play fair
Treat other users with respect, even when opinions clash
Keep discussion focused on football
Rate players honestly. Don’t game the system
Think before you post. Don't share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others
If you see anything that breaks our Code of Conduct, just hit the Report button in the app and we’ll look into it
You’re representing your club here.
Not allowed
We will remove content and may suspend or ban accounts for:
A pattern of belittling, mocking, or condescending behaviour toward other users — even where no single instance, on its own, meets the bar for abuse or harassment. We look at the pattern, not an isolated sharp comment
Abuse, harassment, or bullying of another user; hate speech or discrimination based on a protected characteristic (e.g. race, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation); threats of violence, or encouragement or promotion of violence or self-harm
Sexual or sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or other content that is illegal or highly likely to disturb or offend a general audience, including attempts to evade content filters. Sexual content involving, or appearing to involve, anyone under 18 will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities
Sharing personal or sensitive information about yourself or others without consent (e.g. doxxing, home addresses, contact details, financial information) or sharing intimate images without the consent of the person shown
Fake engagement or rating manipulation
Impersonating another person, business, or organisation, including through fake or misleading profiles
Ads, promotions, or spam — including posts that exist mainly to advertise an account or channel elsewhere with no genuine football content, promotion of platforms that don't moderate explicit content, and use of bots or automated tools to post, rate, or interact with content
Accounts for under-16s, or helping an under-16 access or keep access to the app. Fanalysis is a 16+ service. We carry out age checks, and accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 16 may be asked to verify their age or will be suspended
Using the Report feature irresponsibly. Repeatedly or deliberately making false reports against accounts or content that do not breach our Code of Conduct may result in action against your account
Photos, videos, and avatars
Keep uploads football-related
Get permission from anyone featured. Do not upload intimate or sexual images of anyone without their consent, and do not upload manipulated or AI-generated images (including deepfakes) that depict a real person in a way they haven't consented to
Do not post photos or videos of children without parental or guardian consent
Do not upload copyrighted content, including match footage or restricted stadium content
Avatars must not include hateful, sexual, or violent imagery, or images of real people (including public figures) without their consent. Avatars are subject to the same rules as any other upload
Enforcement
If these rules are broken, we may issue warnings, remove content, suspend accounts, or apply permanent bans. Serious breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities.
If your account is suspended or content is removed, you'll be told why, and you can appeal the decision through the app or by contacting us - we aim to respond to appeals within 5 working days.
Content that may be illegal — including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, content encouraging self-harm or suicide, threats of violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery — will be reported to the relevant authorities.
