Fanalysis is an App for football fans.  A place where fans who care the most, watch the closest and know the best about their club can gather during and after matches to share views.  A place to find real fan sentiment and accurate fan ratings and reviews for your club. It is for conversations and views about football and only about football. 

This Code of Conduct applies equally to Starting XI Fanalysts, Fanalysts and Fans – anyone who uses our App.

Our dos and don’ts:

Dos

• Post ratings, reviews, comments, give likes/dislikes to Fanalyst comments as often as possible and as quickly as possible – for Premier League matches as well as any other matches your club may play.  The more engagement from Fans and Fanalysts, the better experience for everyone.

• Be nice to others.  Your community on the App is your fellow club fans. Play nicely - make them feel welcome and confident to share their views freely. Help create a sense of belonging and a great home for fellow fans. Be open-minded to others’ views.

• Be fair.  A player or club's performance may be a source of frustration but this isn’t a place for abusive behaviour. Debate is at the heart of football conversation, but it is healthy debate that is encouraged as opposed to abusive or hateful comments.

• Report any breach of this Code of Conduct that you may see on the App to our team using the “contact us” button on the App. We will investigate and act accordingly.

Don’ts

• Don’t post about or base your ratings on anything which isn’t directly related to football on the pitch. There are other platforms available for discussing everything else. Leave all politics (except football politics) at the door.

• Don’t harass, bully or threaten players, managers, Fans or Fanalysts, or our team.  Anything that we think could incite violence or promote hate will result in your banning and will be removed and reported to the police.  

• Don’t post anything personal or sensitive such as your (or anyone’s) location or address  – anything you post will be available to the public. Let’s keep everyone safe.

• Don’t disrupt our App or the experience for others. Specifically, don’t post inauthentic comments or try to skew the player ratings.  Rate players on their performance in that match only and not whether you happen to like them or not. 

• Don’t pose as a member of another club – you will only be allowed one subscription and if we suspect you are not a fan of the club you have chosen, we will remove you. We want to promote a positive inclusive club-based experience rather than club vs club, or fan vs fan.

• Don’t use offensive, sexual or abusive language. Swear words of any kind will automatically be filtered and your account will be flagged for review. Don’t try to ‘get around’ our filters or breach the spirit of this rule.

• Don’t try to get an account if you are under 16 and don’t help or encourage anyone who is under 16 to get an account . As soon as it is available to the 13+ age range, we will update this Code of Conduct.

Penalty cards

In addition to asking Fans and Fanalysts to self-moderate their own environment, we will be monitoring content and behaviour on our App constantly.  If we find anything amiss we may give you one or a combination of the following, at our sole discretion:

• A written warning

• Removal but with a possibility of return later at our discretion

• Lifetime ban

• Reporting to authorities
