What is Fanalysis?

Fanalysis is where fan opinion finally gets the platform it deserves. Rate your players, tear into the manager's tactics, or give that performance the verdict it earned - then watch your ratings help shape the official fan verdict seen on TV. This is your game. Have your say.

How do I create an account?

Download Fanalysis from the Apple App Store or Google Play

Once you’ve opened the app, tap Create Fanalysis Account and enter your phone number and email address. Follow the setup steps and you’ll be ready to get started.

Which competitions does Fanalysis cover?

Right now we're focused on the Premier League - every club has its own dedicated Fanalysts, so there's a proper home for your ratings, reviews, and match verdicts. More competitions are on the way. Watch this space!

Is Fanalysis free to use?

Yes - you can use all the core features for free. Just download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and create an account to get started.

Can I use Fanalysis on multiple devices?

Absolutely. Just log in with the same credentials on any device, and your data will sync automatically.

Fanalysing & Content

When can I submit my Fanalysis?

The Fanalyse Now button appears in the app at full time for each game. Tap to leave ratings and reviews for players, the manager, and the match.

How long do I have to submit my Fanalysis?

The Fanalysis window is open for 24 hours after full time. After that, it’s no longer possible to submit ratings or reviews.

Can I submit Fanalysis for any team?

No, you can only submit a Fanalysis for your own team.

How do I create a post?

Head to Feed and tap the green + button in the bottom right corner to get your take out there.

Can I edit or delete a post after publishing?

Changed your mind? No worries - it happens to the best of us. Just tap the 3 dots on your post to edit or delete it. Job done.

How do I report copyright infringement?

If you believe content on Fanalysis infringes your copyright, please submit a notice through our Copyright & DMCA page . Please include all required information so we can review and respond promptly.

Safety & Moderation

Why was my post removed?

We follow community guidelines to ensure a safe space for everyone. If your post was removed, check our Code of Conduct to see what’s allowed.

What if I think a moderation decision was wrong?

We get it - sometimes it doesn't feel fair. If your content's been removed or your account has been suspended and you think we've got it wrong, you can appeal via our Appeals page and someone from our moderation team will review it within 5 working days. We take every appeal seriously. If we made a mistake, we'll put it right.

How do I report a post?

See something that's crossed the line? Tap the 3 dots on the post or comment, hit Report, and pick the reason that fits best. Our moderation team will take it from there. ‍

What happens after I report a post?

Once you've flagged something, our mod team will review it and take the appropriate action.

Can I mute or block someone?

If someone's behaviour is making the app feel unsafe or uncomfortable, start by reporting the post using the steps above. Need more help? Drop our support team a message via the contact form and we'll sort it.

Account & Privacy

Can I delete my account?

Yes, but we’d be sad to see you go! You can permanently delete your account by contacting our support team via our contact form

How do I update my phone number?

Need to switch to a new number? Drop our support team a message via the contact form and we'll sort it. Just make sure you email us from the address you used to create your account, and have your old number handy so we can verify it's you.

How do I adjust my marketing/push notifications settings?

Head to Settings > Notifications to choose what you hear about. You can toggle match events, score predictions, new followers and more - plus email marketing under Preferences. Only get the alerts that matter to you.

Why does Fanalysis use AWS Rekognition?

Fanalysis is a 16+ platform and we take that seriously. When you upload an image, we use AWS Rekognition to estimate your age range and flag any harmful content. It's how we keep the community safe, stay on the right side of the UK Online Safety Act, and make sure Fanalysis is a place everyone can enjoy.

What happens to my selfie?

It does one job - estimating your age range - then it's gone within 7 days. We don't build a biometric profile, use it to identify you, or share it with anyone.

What if harmful content is detected?

Any concerns identified during scanning are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

What happens if the age estimate suggests I'm under 16?

Don't panic - we'll reach out and give you a chance to verify your age another way. If that's not possible or you'd rather not, we reserve the right to remove your account. We just want to make sure Fanalysis is safe for everyone.

Do I have to upload a selfie?

Nope, totally optional - no selfie, no problem. You will need to confirm your date of birth when you sign up though. And if anything else on the app suggests you might be under 16, we may need to remove your account. Just keeping things safe for everyone.

Can I request deletion of my selfie?

Absolutely - just ask and we'll sort it. Though honestly, we delete it automatically within 7 days anyway. Think the age estimate got it wrong? You can challenge it via our Appeals page.

Troubleshooting & Support

I can’t log in. What should I do?

Try resetting your password or clearing the app cache first. Still locked out? Drop our support team a message via the contact form and we'll get you back in.

I haven’t received the verification code. What should I do?

First up - double-check you entered the right phone number.

If you're in the US, you might have previously texted "STOP" to one of our messages, which blocks all future codes. Easy fix - just text "START" to the same number and try again.

Still nothing? Some mobile networks block short codes or unknown numbers, and some phones have built-in spam filtering. Worth checking your network settings and spam folder just in case.

The app is crashing or slow. How can I fix it?

Annoying, sorry about that. First things first - make sure you're on the latest version of the app, restart your device, and check your internet connection. Still not playing ball? Drop our support team a message via the contact form and we'll get it sorted.
